The word telos refers to an end, a goal, or a fulfillment. It is not merely what happens, but what something is for. Civilizations, technologies, crafts, and personal pursuits all embody intentions, whether consciously chosen or unconsciously inherited.
Modern discourse often examines outcomes while neglecting ends. Systems are optimized without asking what they are meant to serve. Innovations advance without reflection on their direction. Cultures persist even as their original purposes fade.
This journal is an attempt to recover that lost dimension. It does not seek novelty for its own sake, nor consensus for comfort. It seeks clarity, coherence, and honest inquiry.
